Good design is the foundation of any project. Each client has different needs, wants and desires. In determining the scope of a project I visit each client, often checking back several times. We use the client's plot plan for clarification of the parameters of the property. We use sustainable design, and the principles of organic gardening to guide our design work. This includes intensive planting, choosing the right plant for the right place and the use of ground covers to eliminate the need for excessive mulching, weeding and leaf raking. Good design should in time, become low maintenance, as each tree, shrub or perennial will be able to grow to maturity without excessive trimming or maintenance. You will be able to enjoy your garden, and spend time in your garden but you will not be a slave to your garden.
