Years ago, as I was learning the tricks of my trade, I enjoyed installing my own landscape. In time I learned there are three areas of vulnerability in creating and installing landscaping as a do it yourself project

The first is in creating a good design for your conditions, wants and needs, including choosing the "right plant for the right place". "Right plant, right place" is a foundational principal of sustainable design.

the second is in finding, locating and purchasing that carefully chosen plant material.

The third is in laying it all out in the bed and understanding the visual relationship between the plant material, the site and the conditions.

With that in mind I created the "Landscape Coaching" program for Exceptional Gardens. In this program we create a unique and beautiful design, according to the wants, desires, and needs of the client. That design is then yours to keep and to work from. As a further service, I will put your plant material order together, saving you the trouble of spending every waking moment looking for specific plant material. Finally, I will deliver your order, and when I do, I will carefully place it like the pieces of a puzzle, in your already prepared beds. In this way, you have all the benefit of a professional design and installation while saving the cost of labor.
